What is the quality like of the tail lite assy and front turn signal, made by Trim Parts ? (as compared to other vendors such as Paragon, The-Last-Detail)
Also, I need a complete set of weather strip,door rubber. Who carries the best, Corvette Rubber or Paragon or are the bubber parts the same ? (prices are similar...)

The Trim Parts reproductions, like most of their other reproductions, are the best parts out there. Usually, if they differ, at all, from the originals it's only because the quality is better than the originals. However, I think that most of the major Corvette parts sources carry Trim Parts reproductions.

There are not a huge number of manufacturing sources for Corvette weatherstrip these days. In fact, there was NEVER a huge number of sources, even when the cars were in production. Generally, I think that Corvette rubber is the best if the GM pieces are no longer available. However, Dr. Rebuild has done a good job of "pre-selecting" the best source for each individual piece.

Corvette Rubber has produced good quality products and I have been very satisfied with his parts. Especailly for the SWC, nobody but Corvette Rubber that I know make the rear window weatherstripping better the Corvette Rubber.

All of Trim Parts are the best.

I purchased many of the after market parts from Paragon. I have been very satisfied with their products and service. I did have a problem with their tail lights, they had provided Trim Parts in the past, but for some reason they supplied me with imported tail lights for my 63 SWC. The quality was very poor at best. I returned the lights and purchased Trim Parts lights and the fit and quality is A-1.

I have used Corvette Rubber products for all my cars and their product fit very good. I am not sure how they will grade out against original rubber products when judged.

I purchased all the molding clips from Paragon and the stainless fit very well. I have seen other 63 SWC with poor fitting or even no stainless on the rear windows do to the rubber or clips they used.

Thanks everyone.
That confirms my opinion about the different vendors.
I have purchased 90 % of my parts so far from Paragon. Their quality and service is very good. (they are only 40 miles from where I live- I can P/U if convenient).
But for parts were fit is critical, such as weatherstripping,(Detroit Rubber) and chrome parts,(Trim Parts), I will buy Vendor specific.
It is a different story when buying fasteners, and most other parts. Those I will contiue to buy from Paragon. But I needed assurance for those other critical parts.
I am getting my car back from the painter in a week and want to be ready to start assembling the interior and exterior parts.
