Does anyone have any information on the models produced with color combos. I have a 66 coupe 427/390 red on red. I had a red on red 69 a year or two ago and a couple of people indicated that was a rare color combo but never could tell me how they knew it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I found in the NCRS Spec Guide was that there were 3366 red exterior cars made in 1966. Nothing about interior colors. Maybe some one will jump in with more details.

By the way of the 10 colors options that year red was the 3rd most popular color behind Nassau Blue and Milano Maroon.

There is an acticle titled "By THE NUMBERS" on page 25 of the April/May 72 (Volume 15, No. 4) edition of Corvette News. Page 26 has a 5 year comparison listing "SOME" percentages for Corvettes in 1966 and 1972 ONLY.
In 1966 there were 12.2% with red exteriors. In that same year ('66) there were 6.9% with red vinyl interiors.

Dan, do you have % for white in 66? i have a conv. and is not easy to keep clean as i live on a dirt road i have to imagine this was a deterent to picking white making it fairly rare but with nassau blue and a BB it sure looks nice. billComment

Bill, black was the lowest production color at 4.3% followed by Trophy Blue at 5.3% and Laguna Blue at 7.4%. White was fouth from the bottom at 7.7% as an evterior color.
Blue vinyl is listed as 23.1%. I see from your profile that your car might have a two tone blue and white interior. This combination is not listed. It is never safe to ASSUME. I don't know if it is part of the 23.1% or the 7.4% listed as Others.
I have a friend with a white on blue L79, it is a good looking car.

sorry wasn't very clear, went on real quick while the tractor warmed. had 3 hrs of snowblowing the neighborhood here in VT. it is the blue/white interior with nassau blue ext that i was inquiring about,thanks,billComment

Nassau Blue 22%.
Blue/white interior is not listed and MIGHT(?) be contained in the 7.4% listed as Others.
