    B.F.Goodrich Availability

Does anyone know of a source, (other than the obvious local & national tire dealers) where we can still get the T/A Radials. I've had a set on order for five months...and called all the different dealers in my area. Same answer.... Back Ordered at the Factory.

    OR
Does anyone have any factory information on the plight of the T/A's

    OR
What are the recommended alternatives to this tire> 255/60-15's

Thanks in advance for any help possible!!!

I bought the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's in that size for my '81. They look great, but also have some of the best traction ratings among it's competitors in that size, plus it is fairly cheap. A similar thread on another forum drew nothing but raves about this tire. If interested, you can compare at the specs on tirerack.com
