!967 license plate bezel

Like to hear from any one that has restored and original license plate bezel. Did the bezel have any kind of anodizing on them? I know they were not polished to a chrome like finish. Any help much appreciated. john

No anodizing on my (believed) original 1967 stainless steel liscence plate bezel. Kent #6201

Hi Kent, I have a couple NOS bezels and I believe they are anodized aluminum though. Were there also stainless ones?????

I'll have to verify their magnetic properties before commiting to either aluminum or stainless steel. Kent #6201

Me thinks that y'all are comparing apples and oranges! The tag bezel is aluminum and the tag frame is polished stainless

Yup, the bezel is clear-anodized aluminum.
