'65 515 Horn Relay Question???

Hello,

Can someone tell me if there is a specified "air gap" between the contact and the pole on an original 515 horn relay?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You must mean 1119515 VOLTAGE Regulator

and the 1965 Corvette Shop Manual specifications shows air gaps for both field relay and volt reg (0.015" and 0.067", respectively). Point openings are 0.030" and 0.014", respectively.

I need the air gap between the contact and pole for the horn relay only, I referenced the voltage regulator part number by mistake.

James -- I've been waiting to see who's going to step up, so here's my 2 cents.

(IMO) GM considered the 1115824 horn relay a non-serviceable (throw-away) item. I have a junkyard example in the basement; I suppose I could pry off the cover and measure the gap, but I'd be afraid of altering that crucial "split" in the seam of the tab.

Was that a real Ferrari GTS-250 he put in that swimming pool ?
