69 smog equipment ???

Hi guys
is it possible to find out if 69 vette where all equip with smog AIR system ?
or
where they some equip with it and some not ?
and
does anyone knows if canadian export 69 vette came with smog AIR system ?

(my vette is a 427 L-68 m-21 if that changes anything)

From what I have learned on this forum, ALL 69 Corvettes had A.I.R. as they rolled of the assembly line...no matter where their final destination was.

I feel extremely comfortable in assuring you that ALL 1968 and 1969 Corvettes were originally equipped with AIR. It does not matter which engine, which transmission, or where originally delivered. Believe me, it would take a "powerful lot of convincing" to get me to believe that ANY 1968 or 1969 Corvette was originally delivered without AIR.

I have been told that the auto BB cars did not have air, but mine does.

Some folks do think that automatic-equipped 1969 Corvettes, big block or small block, were not originally equipped with AIR. The folks that think that are wrong, though. ALL 1969 Corvettes were equipped with AIR.

One of the things that generates the confusion is "inappropriate extrapolation". Most 1969 Chevrolet cars with automatic trans did not have AIR while those with manual transmission did. However, Corvettes were an "exception to the rule"; all 1969 Corvettes, regardless of engine or trans, had AIR.
