    which wing nut is correct ( with pics)

    Your opinions on these two wing nuts. They are slightly different and both are on unrestored mid-year BB cars. Just by looking at the photos can anyone tell me if one of these is correct for my 65 396 car

      Greg,

      The JG says they are black, so I guess my answer is they are both incorrect.

      BTW; We are in the middle of restoring a basket case '65 396 roadster, a mid April car.

          I guess I'll throw those wing nuts on ebay and find me the correct black one.
          I assumed I needed a chrome one as shown on page 88 in Mike Antonick's Corvette Resoration book.
