Could someone post a nice clear photo of an original correct chrome air cleaner wing nut for a 65 car. I have several slightly differant wing nuts and would like to make sure I use the correct one. Thanks

Greg,

Post a good clear picture of your wing nuts and will try to see if one is correct. It will just be faster. Joe L posted one 2 3 weeks ago.

Is it as thick as a dime or a nickel? I believe the originals are thinner.

You could put three wing nuts on top of the lid and see which one the judge of the day likes. The last post on wing nuts had it all clear as mud until a post of an original owner wing nut was posted.
