'61 Vette aluminum radiator painted or not?

I can't tell from the judging manual. Is the aluminum radiator for the '61 Vette fuelie painted black or is it without paint. What shade of black was used?

Is this the same for all aluminum radiators 58-62?

Page 79 of the Judging guide. Early 61 unpainted mid to late were painted glossy black. Have fun, Terry Robertson

My old '61 (October, 1960) car had an unpainted aluminum radiator.

Hi Tony I'm curious does your early '61 have a '60 style radiator or a '61-62 style? Terry Robertson

It's a 61 style. Not the '60 style. If you buy one from DeWitt's, tell him not to paint it if your car falls w/i the dates when the aluminum radiators were not painted. The JG gives you a pretty good idea where the start and stop point is.
