Re: 67 435 HP eBay foolishness
Note that the engine VIN doesn't match the car's VIN on the tag.

You can see the circular marks on the pad left when they decked the block and it looks like they stamped it with the head on.
The front bumper and grill alignment looks like it was done by Ray Charles.

Yes, you can see the "390 to 400 hp conversion" near the bottom of the document fragment. It's not real legible, but it's there. Of course, what's not known is if this document fragment was originally attached to this car.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 67 435 HP eBay foolishness
I just looked at it and the stamp pad photo is now a red X. I have a hard time believing that someone would go to this level of restoration and leave the front bumper so visibly misaligned. Either that or the corners of the front fenders are sagging.
Nice looking car though.- Top

Yes, rivets sure are incorrect. What that "portends" should give any potential buyer SERIOUS doubts about this car. Anyone that would even consider this car without, at least, checking the frame-stamped VIN derivatives must be completely out of their mind.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
