Another high dollar restamp, and a pretty pathetic one at that. Caveat emptor!

Note that the engine VIN doesn't match the car's VIN on the tag.

Gee, the tank sticker says it's a 390 HP!

Before you become too smart Patrick--all 400hp cars say 390hp and 400 conversion further down

You can see the circular marks on the pad left when they decked the block and it looks like they stamped it with the head on.

The front bumper and grill alignment looks like it was done by Ray Charles.

That certainly is true, however you can't prove it by that Corvette Order Copy document.

Yes, you can see the "390 to 400 hp conversion" near the bottom of the document fragment. It's not real legible, but it's there. Of course, what's not known is if this document fragment was originally attached to this car.

You certainly can, my mistake. My apologies to Glen.

Vin tag rivets are bogus, No #7 on pad, they painted the pad and then removed the paint note over spray on fuel line. white hood stripe etc etc Phil 8063

I just looked at it and the stamp pad photo is now a red X. I have a hard time believing that someone would go to this level of restoration and leave the front bumper so visibly misaligned. Either that or the corners of the front fenders are sagging.

                    Nice looking car though.

Yes, rivets sure are incorrect. What that "portends" should give any potential buyer SERIOUS doubts about this car. Anyone that would even consider this car without, at least, checking the frame-stamped VIN derivatives must be completely out of their mind.

In the description and on the tank sheet it states that the car is Elkhart blue but to me it looks like it is now Marina blue.

It doesn't really look like either to me.

Definately not Elkhart but maybe a little light for Marina as well?

Either way, a white stinger is never correct for Elkhart, even with a two tone interior.

                            It's a Nice $35K Car....

But, it'll need a little work to make it a good cruise nite/driver. The whole car is highly suspect! Also,if that's Elkhart blue, I'm a Toyota owner!

Did anyone get a copy of the picture or emailed a picture of the engine pad before it was taken any? If so could someone please email me a picture of the engine pad. Thanks in advance. Dale
