I'll take this sad time to get on my soap box again.

The Oklahoma Chapter lost two friends over the last year, the second a month ago, both from heart attacks.

GO TO THE DOCTOR AND GET A CHECKUP.

Many (most) of us here are getting "older". We will all eventually have to park the Corvette for the last time but if you take care of yourself that can be many miles down the road.

Go get a checkup for your family and all your friends here.

Verle is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Have to chime in. Just lost a friend for the same damn reasons - too proud and too ashamed to have a proper physical.

Scared of a little blood?

Over lunch at the funeral, another friend so aptly put it, "do you think you have the only backside a doctor has probed? Enough said on that subject.

The irony is that the one sided embarassment lasts about 30 seconds but the reward can be years of good living.

I agree! Kinda follows what I said in the post last week about "Old School" and the Restorer.
Corvette enthuisiasts are "Fat & 55+"! Spend $300 on a Physical instead of some useless and not needed Corvette part!

Even if we do not like you, at least we still be able to talk bad about you on the board and at a Corvette event. When one of our friends/members passes, we all remember them for a short time and then life takes over and many of the good memories we shared with that person who passed seem to fade away with our memory.

Please go to the damn Doctor and get your ANNUAL PHYSICAL!

This thread is just anoth way.......

.........of Jerry helping someone. If just one of you "Fat and 55+" ( ) guys goes to the doctor and finds himself needing medical attention, it will be a result of this thread about Jerry Clark.
He sure was a great friend to me over the years.

I hope this thread is successful in Jerry helping someone.

I didn't know him.....wish I had, but I do know a lot of the people in NCRS and on this board and really don't want to lose more any of them.

A checkup is a small inconvenience compared to a closed box.
