C3 What date should my parts have.

I am searching out a SMOG pump and accessories. My 76 was mate 10/1/75, what dates should the parts have stamped on them? Thanks!

The only dated part I know of is the pump and when installed on your 76 it will be hard to read as the numbers are small and reading with a mirror the judge may not be able to tell for sure the date so you would get credit. The date needs to be from 4/1/75 to about 10/1/75(6 month rule). The diverter valve has the part number on it and is judged but the pump will have no part number on it.Make sure what pump and fan you need before buying the wrong model
