    Bryan, me too. The wiper override switch next to the vacuum switches under my dash is a chrome pull down switch. I has a kind of flat knob and you pull it down to stop the wipers and push it up to activate the wipers. I am not sure if mine is original to the car as I bought the car 15 years into its life.

        Michael when was your 68 built? My orignal owner was built in February. The wiper override switch is located between the vacuum pull downs for the headlights and wiper door. The wiper override switch rotates on and off, does not pull down.
