Air Cleaner Silk-Screened Instructions

Hi all,

I would like to replate my original 1960 air cleaner base, but doing so would, of course, obliterate the silk-screened instructions and which I will not do unless the silk screen can be correctly put back on.

So, is there any place I could send my base to after replating that can put a correct set of instructions back on? Even better, if I supplied a digital photo of the original instructions, along with size measurements, could they silk screen that on?

While I'm at it, is there any place that can take the dings out of my original aluminum air cleaner top?

Just about any decent silk-screen shop in a major metro area can take your original lid, photograph the silk-screen, hand touch existing blemishes and make a new screen. THEN, go have the lid replated and when complete get the instructions re-processed.

I know of no commercial service that has 'ready-to-go' silk screens made up for all the years, configurations and colors originally used to save you the tooling cost of making a silk screen for your restoration project.
