    1957 FUEL PUMP PLATE

    Does anyone know if the plate behind the fuel pump should be natural or painted?

      Well, I can tell you that C2-C3 era plates were natural as they were installed at St. Louis and not at the engine plant. I strongly suspect that C1 was the same, but I can't say that with 100% certainty.
