'69 Rear CORVETTE letter set

I have a letter set in a GM box with GR. 8.055 and #3782700 which, I think, was purchased for my '71 but not sure. Questions: (1) What years does it fit? (2) What letter set is correct for my '69? and (3) Are the correct letter sets available for '69 and from whom?

The 69-73 letters you have should be correct for your 69. I have not had anyone tell me that they know a problem with the GM letters used in judging.

The 3782700 letter set was for the front of a 61-62. Pretty sure the letter unit that you need for your 69 would be a 3927979 in group 12.182. I'm not sure if this is still available from GM.

Lyle & Michael - Thanks for the information. Looks like I have something else to sell since I don't have a 61 or 62. Wonder where I got that emblem set? Anyway, since my post, I found Dr. Rebuild has the letter sets and I'll check with a local Chevy dealer for availability. The difference that initially alerted me in realizying I have the worng set is that the letter posts are different. The set I have (evidently '61-2 front) has all the same diameter posts and in different locations from the correct rear set for my '69. Without an excellent photo of the correct set, the letter font may be quite different.

P.S. - See y'all at Old Town. I'll probably have my '67 there again as there is just too much work to get the '69 running.
