    63-67 Hardtop Interior Trim

Is anyone aware of a reproduction source for 63-67 removal hardtop (C07) trim? If not, does anyone know a reliable/reasonable resource for used pieces?
If these were 61-62, I'd be able to go up to the barn and grab some, but this is a whole new ballgame.
    Thanks!
    Mike

    Re: 63-67 Hardtop Interior Trim

    Rev. Mike,

There was a vendor at Old Town last year who restores removable hardtops for all Corvette years having them as options. If they don't sell trim parts, perhaps they could help you find someone who does. Hopefully someone will remember their name since I suffer from memory loss. BTW - have you tried any of the following:
    Pipers - www.pipersauto.com
    Paragon -
    Trim Parts - www.trimparts.com
    The Last Detail - www.tld-corvette.com

Good luck and happy new year,
    Kent #6201

PS - Did you receive the fastener notes I emailed?

Thanks, Kent! And by the way--received your fastener list and am working through that piece by piece. Thanks again!

          Remember

Bolt head markings, screws and washers on my list are only those applicable to my '67 whose assemgly was completed circa February 14, 1967 (middle of the production run). FWIW - my car, SN 111548, is a base engine convertible with A/C, AM/FM and 4-speed. Cars before or after it may very well have had different bolt head markings depending upon the supplier to the assembly line. Whether they were at the top, middle or bottom of the supply of any bolts is anyone's guess and the previous/next Corvette may have had different bolt suppliers. As we all should realize, there were at least three suppliers to the line for fasteners and then they could have sent four gofors N-E-S-W directions to buy all of a certain size from anyone stocking it. The line had to keep moving at almost all costs (union actions excepted). At any rate, I sincerely hope the list is beneficial during your '67 restoration.

          Best and happy new year,

            Re: Remember

I completely understand what you're saying. Over the years, I've had 28 62's, and they have varied in fasteners used from place to place. Early vs. late. Left vs. right. And on and on. That's why, in the last several iterations of the 61-62 judging manual, along with others, we've used "typical" to describe what's been seen and documented.
Happy New Year to you, too!
