    how far should the exhaustpipe extend past the bumper

      I don't believe it does extend past the bumper. If I remember correctly they are just inside the opening!

          Terry may be correct, but I'd aim to let it hang..

          ...at least 1/4". You're not going to like all that moisture and naaaasty black crud violating your fresh chrome...

              greg...my tailpipe sticks out about 1/4 in past edge.. my bumpers were re chromed about 25 yrs ago and still look great..if u want to save ur bumpers go long..john
