    Shimming a 62 body

Hi, I need some information about correctly shimming a 62 body. I assume that you put rubber mounts on all of the frame mounts, but where do you place the small rectangular pieces of rubber?
After the rubber is on the chassic and the body is let back down on the chassic will the body have clearences between the body and chassic to show you where to put the metal shims, if not how do you know where and how many to put in.
Also do the shims go between the body and rubber or between the chassic and rubber.
I have searched the archives as well as "The Corvette Restorer" but can't find any information as how to do it correctly. All help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Wade

Wade, page 329 of Noland Adams book has a great drawing of the placement of the rubber shims on the frame and a detail of the body mount bolts and the fiber and metal shims that go along with them.
