C3 Master Cylinder

I need to find a master cylinder for my 71 Roadster as the original one has been replaced. Are the new ones that say they are NCRS correct truely correct or do I need to look for a original used one and have it rebuilt. I want this car to be as close as possible for judging. Also the calipers have all been replaced and are the 547 design. They all have SS sleeves in them already so I was thinking of rebuilding these as long as the casting numbers are not judged.

The reproduction master cylinders look quite good, to me. However, there probably are some "nuances" of original configuration which differ. An original master cylinder core for your application will not be all that difficult to find, though. If the car is manual brakes, you want a "509" casting with a "DC" code; if it's power brakes, then you need a "346" casting with a "PG" code.

As far as I know, caliper casting numbers are not judged.
