Re: What can you do at home?
I took some of our original documentation from our 62 and vacuum sealed it with one of those infomercial type "food saver" sealers. I have also used it to seal old silver coins etc. Works great. The two worst things (other then the acid in the paper itself is light and air. zip lock bags sealed containers drastic heat humidity changes etc Eric- Top

Re: What can you do at home?
There is a very good article on preservation of documents in the AACA Antique Automobile this month. They also are storing the NCRS archives. I have requested permission to copy and publish this for the NCRS membership.Dick Whittington- Top

Thank you I read the LofC tips and
as I suspected there is no easy homew brew. Keep dry, flat out of bright light, don't handle is all you can do beside laminating which is not reversible. No neutralizing methods for home other than archiving digitally. Dust to dust.
Thanks again,
