    70 starter/ solenoid

Just picked up a NOS starter, 8338 for my 70 L-46. The solenoid has 1114360 with a sideways 3 above it. Can't find a number reference.

GM #1114360 is a PRODUCTION-only part number for a solenoid equivalent to the GM #1114356. The 1114356 was used in BOTH PRODUCTION and SERVICE.

Why did the 1114360 exist if it's the same as the 1114356? I don't know.

So can I assume the starter is a NOS production piece? The solenoid definitely has always been on this 0A13 starter.

I would say that part number on the solenoid confirms it.
