    Dist Cap Application???

    I have come across an original Distributor Cap that was in a garage since the early 80's. It is black with the Delco Remy around the top, but also has the patent #. 70-72JG says this is not correct for my application. Question: Which years/engines is this cap correct for? Was this cap used for both production and replacement? Thanks in advance for any and all help!!!!

      Service only. Can be used for any GM V-8 from 1958 thru 1974, but never saw one on an original car.

          I belive that cap is correct for judging in 73-74 Corvettes but don't have my TI&JG with me on the road.
