66 Coupe 427, New Shocks? Recomendation?

I have a 66, 427 coupe that I DRIVE. I want to purchase new shocks. What does everyone recomend, I would like origional looking but a nice ride? The color doesn't matter I'd probally paint them the proper gray color to look origional. Thanks,

    Bill-----

For normal street driving, I think you'll be very happy with the current Delco shocks, Delco #530-315, front, and 530-4, rear. These shocks are also reasonably close to the originals in terms of configuration. Plus, you can purchase a set of about $100.

Want to upgrade and spend more money? Then, I'd use Bilsteins. They'll have a configuration less like the original, but they'll perform better. Unless you drive the car in a "spirited" manner, I don't think you'll notice much difference, though.
