1963 Owners Guide

I received as a present last evening a 1963 Owners Manual Second Edition. I have researched the archives in reference to 1963 guide editions and became curious about when the different editions were released or inserted into the production 1963 Corvette.

If anyone has information or a 1963 Corvette with an original owners guide could you please email with edition and production date of your 1963.

Ray, My 63 has the original owners manual that came with the car. First edition. Car's birthday is about March 3rd or 4th. Still has the card in it that the owner was supposed to send in for a free script to Corvette News. These are rare for sure. John D.

My May 30 car, #16224 came with a second edition manual. I always thought that meant it was a replacement or a reproduction. Is it possible that this is original?

Hi! Bill

It is my understanding that there are reproductions that could be marked first or second edition. There are some keys to look for to insure you have an original manual not a reproduction. Do a search of the archives for this information as it has been discussed before. I have had a few emails and postings above that is providing production dates with the manual edition, but would need a larger survey base to form any conclusion of what production dates would receive which editions.
