Goat Hill has an ad in the current DriveLine announcing the new repo B & H bolts for the 57/57 F.I. fuel filter. Has anyone seen them yet and know what the price is? I tried to find a web site bit could not locate one. Rich # 2276

See old listings re: this vendor
I have had problems with this vendor - paid $$$ for parts, then it took him over 4 months to ship stuff that was supposedly in stock! If I were to ever buy from him again, it would ONLY be at a show where I can hand over my cash and take the part that I have been personally able to inspect! In fact, at Carlisle a few years ago, he wouldn't even let me unwrap a repro 263 coil to inspect it until after I had forked over the cash - great way of doing business - you can't even SEE what you're buying 'till after you pay! Hmmm, I guess all the honest guys with nothing to hide are doing it that way? :o

Re: See old listings re: this vendor
There are a ton of thread's on these people, and to my knowledge none of them good. I would avoid them like the plague. 1 or 2 people can have a problem with a vendor but when you get as many complaint's come up as there have been against these people something is drasticly wrong.I will also avoid Chicago Corvette's after reading about thier shady practices also.If the corvette community will stick together and avoid these type of questionable business's they will shape up or ship out.Tom- Top

Re: Goat Hill Classics
Guys, I'm well aware of their reputation and are not interested in purchasing from them. I'm simply asking if any members have seen the parts to tell what they look like and what the price is.- Top

John,
Yes I got quite a few e mails but so far no comments on the repo bolts. I thought for sure someone would have seen them. I'm also damn curious about the price as the originals bring so much money. Happy holidays, Rich- Top

Re: Goat Hill Classics
Terry,
FYI it's a question of value. I simply asked if anyone had seen the part so I could get some opinions on how correct or incorrect it is and at what cost. I'm sure your aware that real ones are currently selling for over $200.00 a pair. That's why. OK?- Top
