    C3-Vacuum hoses-headlights-1972

    Since I have been waiting for the TIM forever, does anyone know what the correct size of the hoses should be and the size of color stripe? I have seen examples of different ones and not sure what is right.

              Their are lots of ideas what those hoses look like and I doubt the TI&JG could show the difference. If you could check out a car with know originals would be your best bet. I use swap meet hoses to replace originals for judged cars. If you buy new through the mail I doubt any will hold up to a picky judge. They will say the strip is too wide or not wide enough if the hose looks new.

                      All the original hoses that I have seen have diagonal serations in the striping, but then again, I have just seen a small percentage of the cars. All the reproductions are a solid stripe. Beware that there are some of the repros that are better than others, but this is not the place to open that can of worms.
