Bob,
I've seen the early style on engines as late as May '63. But I can't confirm that the changeover to the 2nd style occurred at the same time at both Flint and Tonawanda.

It seems to me that the 1962-63 valve cover decal for these years was an embossed style. If true, when did it change to a flat type decal?
