    Hi Larry...up here in God's country (NW) my local paint store, told me this lacquer deal was a county by county restriction. on the other hand they could get it from another county. it's not a done deal yet because there is some sympathy at least my area for people like us on this old car subject. just a side note, I bought a gallon of Dupont lacquer primer this last summer to the tune of $160+ so be prepared.....regards Frank

        There is more to lacquer than dull door jambs .Anyone who thinks they can make bc/cc undetectable from factory applied lacquer or a correct lacquer repaint is mistaken . And is thats what we are supposed to be judged aginst.Yes you can make it look like high quality sanded and buffed lacquer, but that should be a over restoration deduct.yes you can get full points & yes you can get a full deduct.depends on the judges...Bill
