Re: i switched from corvettes to camaros when

Any of you been watching the LT-1's on ebay?? There are two listed starting at $50,000. Both Duntov cars, one a Bowtie. There was a '72 air coupe that sold Friday for somewhere North of $45,000. Needed repaint, serious chassis detailing and other minor items. Probably would have cost another $15-20k to get it to Duntov. LT-1 air convertible sold recently for $67,500. And the price is climbing.

Get'um while they are hot folks. :

Re: i switched from corvettes to camaros when

I may have one up for sale (72 yellow Coupe) - I need to do some checking on the numbers before it will be in the (next) Driveline. Ships from Amsterdam / the Netherlands.

Obviously I follow these trends with great interest.

            Fun in the back seat

I & a very attractive blond had some fun in the back seat of my '71 Camaro! Hell, come to think about it we even had fun in the front seat of the Camaro.

Wow...In a 71 Camaro??!!. Good grief, I've had to ride in one of those...You'all must have been "Little People" contortionists!

For that kind of fun, the General's mid-fifties land barges (Buick, Oldsmobile) were preferred. The front seat of the old family Ninety-Eight was about as good as a double at the La Quinta.

All of the GM land barges paled in comparision to the American Motors cars with the lay down front seat. My mom never asked why I wanted to take her Ambassador wagon to the drive in instead of my Camaro.

One of our Family trucksters. A 66 Barracuda 225/slant6. But had the fold down back seat at the Drive-In. With that back window to boot.
