    New DVD bad

I just recieved today my new DVD :The Restorer" for 61-62 Corvettes, It will not play and I get error message stating "Please eject the disc, playback feature may not be available on this disc". Has anyone else ever had this problem, am I doing something wrong, it took forever to get here and I need info from it desperately and now it won't play and it will be Monday before I can speak to anyone about it.
    Thanks,
    Wade

I would find some teenager and let him try it in his computer or if you can try a different computer. The only thing harder than a frame off on a old corvette is trying to get a computer to do what you want all the time. I walk away and try later also as it sometimes works for me.

Some time ago I spent the money and ordered the same DVD. Same problem as you are having - wouldn't access the content.

I licked my financial wounds - threw away the disc and have never bought anything from NCRS again. I figure there is no quality control so you never know if what you are getting is 1) accessable or 2) accurate. Lesson learned. Now I rely solely on the expertise of the members posting to the forum.

Yes, I have a computer that has both. Wouldn't work in either.
Thanks for checking though, cause you are right, I might have tried the wrong venue.

I have the latest full version (V32.4), and it works fine in all my computers; it's a CD, not a DVD.

As I said, I tried to access the information in both drives. Could it be that a previous version had a problem?

I've had several different versions--they have worked well. The very, very, very first one had a bit of trouble loading--called NCRS--they had their computer guy, Ken Willson actually call me to help me to get it working. Seems like a bit of overreaction to assume that nothing NCRS sells is quality and to throw it away. The information there is at least as good as on this forum.
