Another of the solid axle vendors just passed away. Jack Reeves, the owner of the 53-62 Corvette Place passed away. He was one of the original members (#10) of NCRS. Obits link below

Sad news for solid axle group and for the Corvette hobby in general. Jack was a wonderful guy and will be missed. My best to his family in their time of grief.

14 years ago when my wife and I took a ride from Ca. In our other 55 we had, Stop at his shop , had a good time he took us out to dinner.

Ten years ago when I was at Carlyle, I stopped at his booth and bought a few low cost parts for the '57 I had recently purchased. Even though it was a busy day at the swap meet, he took the time to chat about the car and what I planned to do with it. Not every vendor would do that.

Sadly missed! We did a lot of business over the years. For some reason, I never knew he was a founding member of NCRS.

jack wasn't a founding fathr of NCRS.Page 1 of current RESTORER mag lists the 7 founding fathers of NCRS. i'd consider jack a charter member.mike
