    Radio Identification

I recently purchase a "basket case" '57. In one of the many parts boxes I found what is supposed to be the original Wonderbar radio. I can't find any markings on the radio to properly identify the origin. The Wonderbar bar is missing but there is room for it and was there at one time. How do I identify the origin of the radio?

    Thanks.. Pierre #34410

Often, identifying labels (Delco Remy PN, Chassis No. Serial Number, Etc.) are on paper labels affixed to the inside of the chassis lid. Have you opened the radio and looked inside? Note, these labels may well be faded an/or loose inside the chassis as the label's glue often lets go with time/age...

        Pierre,

This is the label that Jack was referring to, except this one is from my 54 radio. If you find a label you can then look up the part application or post it here for help identifying its application.

            Re: Radio Identification

Many thanks to all for your responses. I did indeed find the label inside the radio as Jack and Bob suggested and the number in the top left corner is 3725156, a quick Google search confirmed it is the original radio. I also found, when I removed the cover, that there is one missing tube (at least the socket is empty!!).
Time to look for a radio guy...

            Thanks again,

            Pierre #34410
