53-55 trans hump

The trans hump on my '55 was hacked up to make room for a 4 speed that was installed in place of the Powerglide. When I bought the car, the hump was patched to cover the big square hole that was cut for the shifter. I cannot find a photo or diagram that shows exactly where the correct hole should be cut, what diameter the hole is and how the 4 mounting holes for the screws to attach it to the trans hump are situated. Anybody have a photo or a diagram I can source? I'm getting ready to start body work and patching old repairs is first on my list. I'd like to make sure I have the shifter mount location set up properly.Any shifter install instructions out there?

Not for you! He !He! but you could slip over the border and visit me and take measurements , a steel ring was riveted on the under side of the body that mounted the shifter by Four Screws ?
I dont think there is a install drawing.

I should be able to get all the info I need from under the car. Would it be possible to peek under the carpet to see the finish on the glass on the trans hump? I'm going to Vegas on a small consulting job this weekend, but maybe after Thanksgiving, first week of December I could make the trip on a weekend. I'll call you to firm up details. Is the wind as bad today in Nevada City as it is in Reno / Sparks? YIKES!

I cant remove the carpet but the glass looks the same as the rest of the hump, wind is OK here,sounds good come up.
