HEI shaft seal question

Where can I get a new upper shaft seal for an HEI distributor. This is the clear plastic washer with a felt washer attached to it that sits under the "cup" that holds the pickup coil. This one is heat damaged. I opened up a spare HEI and that seal was brittle and cracked when I removed it. My first stop was GM and their computer said this part is discontinued and I did not have any luck at Autozone across the street, go figure.

Any suggestions or Part numbers would be appreciated.

The plastic seal and the felt washer are actually seperate pieces; they are not an assembly. The plastic seal is GM #1950569. I show it to be still available from GM.

The felt washer was GM #1951099. It was discontinued quite some time ago. However, it is manufactured by Standard Motor Parts and is their #DG-53. Also, it's available from NAPA under Echlin #DP-110. Strangely, the plastic seal is not available from either Standard or NAPA.

Joe - The washer is the same as used on single point distributors.

Is the seal the same?
