Can anyone recommend a book or website that has good information and pictures to help restore my 327/350hp in my 1965. Its the correct block but over time some parts have dissapeared, i.e. intake, air cleaner, distributor, etc. I need a guide for help to restore my engine and engine compartment back correctly. Thanks.

Re: 65 engine restoration help
NCRS judging manual is a great resource for this situation. It will give you part numbers, bolt ID, colors, etc. The drawback to the NCRS manual is there are no pictures. MF Dobbins has written the Vette Vues fact book of the 63 to 67 Stingray, it has some good engine photos in it. Also, Noland Adam's restoration guise is a great book with great details and photos. Re: 65 engine restoration help
The NCRS Spec Guide has the part numbers or casting numbers for all the major components - carb. dist., starter, manifolds....
And the 1965 Corvette Shop Manual Supplement (you should have a 1963 Corvette Shop Manual to go with it) should have some decent photos.
The assembly drawings in the AIM will give you a better understanding of what the parts look like and how they go together than any half dozen photos you might ever find.
Last, there might even be a close by member of your local NCRS chapter that has a properly restored '65 L-79 that you can actually look at!
