    Carb ID question

I'm trying to ID a carb that was given to me when I purchased my '63 vert with a 340 SHP. It's a Carter AFB, and the only numbers I can find on it are 1795 on the main body and 6-1770 on the top. I'm curious whether it's an aftermarket replacement appropriate for my engine. Thanks for the help.

    Re: Carb ID question

Your copy of the '63-64 Judging Guide should tell you the correct 'numbers' for a '63 Carter AFB are:

    Air Horn, Cast No. 6-1518
    Body, Cast No. 0-1552
