A rear sway bar was NOT part of the F-41 suspension package. For the 65-74 period, the rear sway bar was supplied only as part of any big block option and NOT F-41. For the most part, during this period the F-41 package was only available with big blocks, so that may have generated some of the "confusion" on this point.

For 1975+, the FE-7 suspension package replaced F-41. The FE-7 package DID include a rear sway bar, although it was small in OD than earlier bars.

Phil,

Both K66 and F41 were optional on '68,'69 Corvettes. In '70 & '71, only Corvettes ordered with ZR2 or ZR1 option have been found with these. 1972 ordered ZR1 optioned Corvettes have F41, K66 option discontinued.

F-41 was an option akin to K-66 and many other options. However, the rear sway bar was not part of the F-41 option. Also, F-41 was a restricted option in the sense that you could not order it freely for any car; it required certain other options.
