C1 Picture Test and Seeking Info

I'm trying my luck at posting a picture on the board and thanks Roy, I think it worked! While I'm at it I thought I would put up this old photo of my 62 when it was running the streets of Chicago's southern suburbs. This picture was taken aound the Addison area in 1971 - It's as far back on owners as I can go. Does it look familiar to anyone? Thanks for enduring my test posting!

Eric,

I lived in Addison in 73 and was heavily involved in Corvettes at that time but I don't remember the car. There was a guy named Bronco that had a Corvette only body shop in Addison during this time period that may remember the car. I'll see if I can come up with contact info for him.

Michael, thanks! I'll take whatever leads I can get. With the privacy laws and state records I've run into a brick wall. I talked to the guy who owned it back then and he said he and his dad bought it from a couple of "hippies" in front of a house on the south side. He was right, I found a hash pipe under the carpet on the driver's side! I wonder what an original 62 Vette hash pipe would bring on e-bay! Thanks again, Eric
