My '65 has the numbers matching 327/350hp. It will be a driver so I'd like to buy a crate motor while I slowly re-build the original (then probably store it). I want to re-use the factory valve covers, intake, trans, oil filler, etc on the crate motor to retain factory appearance. So here's my question: is there anyone that builds crate motors using these old 327 blocks and heads so I can re-use these factory parts?

Yes, there are many builders of "crate" engines which build them up from reconditioned, original components. However, finding one that builds them up from engine blocks/heads as old as yours will be more difficult. The reason is that very few folks these days WANT engines built from such components.
The big problem will be finding an engine with a block with crankcase ventilation provisions like yours so that you don't need valve cover mounted PCV grommets. However, I think that just about any of the builders would be willing to obtain such a core and build you up an engine as you wish.
Obtain a copy of Hot Rod Magazine or Chevy Hi-Performance Magazine and you will find several engine builders advertised there. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
