C2 Fuel Tank Straps

1966: How should the fuel (gas) tank straps be finished? Are they painted or natural? (If painted, what color and sheen)
What about the adjusting bolts and brackets, How should they look?

Agree with Mike on the strap finish. Believe the hardware is cad plated.
