    A Quick Q for the experts out there!!! When GM sprayed the cluch bell housing on a 70 BB was the fork and boot sprayed orange or installed after? Thad #32187

      The clutch fork boot was installed at St. Louis so that could not have been painted. As far as the fork goes, usually the paint did not extend that far back on the bellhousing, but, in any event, I suspect that some sort of cover was temporarily applied to this area. I've never seen an original fork with paint on it.
