since the restoration of my 1964 my washer motor doesn`t work. I replaced all the wiring harness with new from Lectric Limited. Does it need primed maybe, if so how? Thanks Jerry #40900

Yup,
Prime it to see if that works. I just took hose from tank out, filled with water, put it in a cup of water and tried it again - it worked.
Seems a lot of people are having a problem with this especially if rebuilt. The repro stuff is not the quality of original. Naturally the people that have a problem with it are already at a show and then it does not work! -

I had my washer pump rebuilt on my 65 convert L79 and couldn't get it to do anything but sound like it was working. I tried several times to get it to pump and I finally sucked fluid through it and got it to work. If it sounds like it is working, just be patient and try to prime it or suck the fluid through it while pumping with a vacuum pump or your trusty lips. Either way, your patience should pay off.
