    VALVE COVER HAIRLINE CRACKS

    Hello; I noticed a few hairline cracks above the Corvette letters on my 67 350 valve covers. These are about a half inch long, and very fine. Is this a normal occurance after 40 years - can I leave them as is? Thanks!

      Had a similar situation on my '62 the valve covers were installed upside down by previous owner and the rockers were rubbing ever so slightly till they wore through. Got rid of valve train noise also.
