Albuquerque Super Chapter Meet

Just returned home from the Albuquerque judging meet. What a great group of members, and the hot air balloons were flying! Many thanks to Pete Lindahl, Fritz Allen, Steve Walker, Bill Baker and everyone else that made the event really special. I had an awesome time. Eight cars were judged and several achieved Top Flight status (including my 67 coupe). Next time we need a road rally along Route 66!

Glad to see you had a great time at the event. How many miles did you put on her, and what kind of gas mileage did you get? How was the driving?

Yes, they all live in and around Albuquerque.

Dale - Frizt Allen, Steve Walker, and Bill Baker are all members of the NM Chapter and live either in the area immediately surrounding Albuquerque or in Albuquerque proper. Pete

Hey Jerry. It was too far to drive from Kansas City to Albuquerque, so I trailer'ed it down. If it would have been within a four hour drive, I would have just driven. No driving points, but I did score 96.7. I've got to dull down my jams and some other areas since I got a full 85 point deduct on my paint. Just didn't have time to work on the dull areas before the show.
