    Screw pn 161901 description please

The 63/64 JM calls for the rear aluminum bezel (around license plate area) to be secured by 2 pan head slotted screws with integral washers. The AIM shows (pg223)four locations for screw # 161901 which looks like a slotted pan head. Every C2 I look at has a pan head phillips and the repro I order are also pan head phillips. Besides requiring 4 screws not 2 as JM calls for,

what should these screws look like????

    Thanks Alan

Wish I could find a parts manual covering screws.

    Alan-----

GM #161901 is a PAN HEAD, CROSS RECESS (Phillips) head screw. It is a #10-12 thread, 5/8" in length, pointed tip, and zinc or cadmium plated.

      Re: Screw pn 161901 Repro's

      Thanks Joe,
I'll put the repro's in if unable to find originals in my junk box.

Appears the 63/64 JM section 17 needs a correction.

Send that correction to the appropiate team leader. His email can be found in the contacts section of the NCRS.org site.
