Re: Dealer number Could you share!!!!
This is a high resolution scan of the build sheet. I will post a high resolution picture as soon as I can. At the bottom you will note this was the Dealer copy. It is in perfect condition. The carbon paper tag is still attached on the left. The owner did not realise what this was and almost threw it away. Thank goodness he kept it. Rick

Re: Dealer number Could you share!!!!
This sheet also shows the key codes, engine build code and differential codes as well as the VIN#. It was meant for the dealer records for warranty work and key replacement. Great find.- Top

Re: Dealer number Could you share!!!!
His actual build date, the date the car was completed, appears in the lower left corner of the build sheet. Looks like 6-8-65 or possibly 6-6-65. The date, as well as the engine date, Diff code and key codes were typed onto a copy of the build sheet at the completion of assy.- Top

Re: Dealer number
Rick, as I recall this is not the build sheet. In earlier years it was call the "Regular Commercial and Truck" document. The name was changed to Corvette. It is just as good if not better than the build sheet as it is the Holy Grail of birth certificates.
This is the copy that went to the dealer, copy 5, with the driver of the car carrier/truck. These were normally trashed when the car got to the dealer. Either the truck driver or the dealer stuffed it in the car, very lucky on your part. If this is truly a real document you just added, I believe, lots of $$$$$ to the value of the car as it proves what the original engine was/is.
In the upper left corner under IDENT number is 921496. This is the number that goes on your Window Sticker in the upper right hand corner under the blue Bow tie.
