C2 Gas Tank Sending Unit ground wire conn?

For a Mar 64 car, the ground wire on the gas sending unit (at tank) what is the color of the connector, how long is it, and any other discription of it would be of help.
Did a repair here a few years ago (late 70's) and do not believe I saved the old connector.

    Thanks

    Alan,

It's a black connector about 1" long, see the picture just above the fuel line This is from an orginal 67.

NAPA sells a similar 90* molded rubber connector with about 10" of black wire on it as Belden #784827; the rubber part isn't as large in diameter, but the female terminal is the correct size for the male pin on the sending unit. Might also be available from Eagle Wire Products.

        Thanks everyone,
Found the old one in my electrical connector pile, just was not sure which one it was.
PS these are available from Rhode Island Wiring see - .riwire.com
They have a good supply of GM style connectors.

          Alan,

What's the part number for the connector from Rhode Island Wiring?

            Re: RI Wiring part number

I have a catalog from RI entiled "Supplies" - please order that one for a list of their connectors.

From a past order, Jan 06, the numbers are GMCBSM (single male), GMCBSF (single female), GMCBDM (double male), GMCBDF (double female) They came black! Not sure how I got the numbers, but must be in catalog someplace.

Also look above at posting (if you have not yet) for some better ideas.

              Alan,

That reminds me of the time not too long ago, when I found my original ignition shield top bolt at the bottom of my old tool box. Here's the thread, just for fun:

                Re: C2 Ignition Shield Bolt

                Thanks for that Jerry,

Took a look at mine to see if I had the RBW or E and found I have the wrong bolt.
It was in my ignition shield pile, however its a hex with integral flat washer then a star washer attached. Well off to look around again.

                  Heck Alan,

That might be the right bolt for a 64, mine is for a 67. Don't spend too much time looking.

I think you are a lot like me. I have my 67 since 68. I remember everything I changed on it, but I don't remember where I put the original parts!
