'65 Seat belt assembly vendors

Hello,

I'm thinking of replacing the seat belts of my '65 Convertible due to a hole in the webbing of the passenger side belt and the buckles aren't that nice any more.
I found the follwing sources:
ssnake-oyl -> $290 per seat belt assembly
Paragon -> $350 - $380 per seat belt assembly
Additionaly Seatbelt Sity (Charlie Santonelli) was recommended. I would appreciate and comments about the quality of these vendors with regard to original apperance. Furthermore it would be helpful to me if anyone can provide me with an email address of Seatbelt Sity since I live in Germany and communicating by email is more convenient for me.

Charlie restored mine. Depending on a bunch of factors he charges more or less. One factor for me was the fact that he used original excellent quality black belts as compared to dyed belts which would feel stiffer. I would and have recommended him.

Dyed belts....

Thinking of dying my black webbing. I have read there is no good way. Or is there?

Contrary to popular opionion, this can be done with excellant results. Your lucky with Black because it's an easy color match.

It's best to remove the stitching and hardware and make sure the the material is squeeky clean.

Buy some RIT dye at your local store and follow the instructions.

Be sure to use fabric softener. It will keep the belts from getting stiff
