    I Got The Rochester Blues....Baby!!!

Last year I put a correct 2366SA carb. on my '56 sngl 4 bbl. 210 HP P/G Corvette. I recently got out the old carb so as to sell it, BUT, there are no numbers on it. I know it is not correct because it is bigger in physical size than my 2366SA. All I can find is Rochester 4 Jet in one place and 4 Jet in another along with their logo, company identification and a pat. pend. mark. What's up? Is there anyone out there who can help me??? I would send a picture if that would help. Thanks.

If it is a Chevrolet Rochester, the last four numbers of the part number are stamped in the top cover of the carb, usually on the drivers side at the rear, in VERY small numbers. Non Chevy carbs didn't typically get this treatment.
